WHAT IS “PETER’S PENCE”?

Peter’s Pence is a DONATION that may be small in amount but has a profound symbolic value. It expresses LOVE AND TRUST in the Holy Father as the successor of Peter.

·       It is a gesture of communion with the Holy Father.

·       It is a concrete way of participating in his mission to bring the Gospel and to spread charity and hope throughout the world.

·       It is a sign of belonging to and of sharing responsibility within the Church. 

With your gift, you can open your eyes and heart to see the Church, which walks alongside families and peoples as they journey along the path of the Gospel and human development, in every corner of the earth.

The Church has always been able to continue its work thanks, in part, to the generous contributions of countless people. Being grateful for the gift of faith these people have chosen to give something, according to their means.

Even today, it remains a tangible expression of belonging to the Church and of participating

in the universal mission of the Holy Father as the Successor of Peter.
