Through the Vicar of the Patriarchate of Amman of the Latins in Jordan, a funding channel is active to meet the needs of the School of the Parish of the Immaculate Conception of Al-Husun.

The structure welcomes over 800 boys, many of whom are young refugees from the war in Syria.

Al-Husun is located 40 km southeast of the Sea of Galilee, just 20 km from the border with Syria; in recent years the arrival of numerous refugees has had a major impact on the economy and on the daily life of the country.

Thanks also to the help of the young university students of the parish (who have become teachers of mathematics, Arabic and English), hundreds of children, excluded from the school system, are learning to read and write.
