Italy: in Naples, Bologna and Siena, medicines and face masks donated to those most in need
14 December 2020

During the month of December 2020, first in Naples and then also in Bologna and Siena, the Office of Papal Charities, at the behest of Pope Francis, donated medicines and anti-Covid-19 protection kits to those most in need. A gesture of closeness and solidarity in a particularly tough moment fo those who already live in difficulty.
Specifically, numerous medicines against colds and flu, face masks and personal hygiene products were donated.
A gesture of warmth for the last among us, which on the day of the Pontiff's birthday, joins the gift also sent by Francis to the children of Venezuela, ventilators for respiratory diseases.
